My first professional job was working for a local newspaper as a graphic designer and that quickly trickled into writing and editing. Fast forward a couple of years and I started my own lifestyle magazine. The magazine was a monthly publication distributed widely in Juneau and throughout Southeast Alaska for over a decade. Sadly it saw it's last days during the beginning of COVID. In addition to the magazine, I've done a number of publication designs and layouts for various companies and organizations. Currently, I am responsible for content editing and creation for the State of Alaska, Division Retirement and Benefits.
